New Al Sadd signing Jugurtha Hamroun has expressed his pride in joining Al Sadd and his excitement to be taking part in the QSL season this term, the Algerian international expressed his joy at signing on with the Wolves in an exclusive interview with QSL online.

Despite only joining a few days ago, Hamroun feels very welcome at his new side; “I already feel like I am part of the Al Sadd family, the players and management have been so kind with me.”

“I am very happy to have joined a great club in Al Sadd, I know that they are one of the biggest clubs in Qatar and the most well known in Asia. It’s a great honour for me and I will try my best to perform at my best for Al Sadd” added the 27 year old winger on the sidelines of the recent QSL media day.  

The former Staua Bucharest attacker also outlined his ambitions with his new side; “We will definitely be aiming to win a trophy. That is what Al Sadd is all about, and as a team we are a big squad many good players capable for fighting for the QSL title.”

Concluding his interview with QSL Hamroun revealed his excitement with playing with Al Sadd captain Xavi. “The first thing I noticed about Xavi is that he is so down to earth, I used to watch him on TV when I was young and now I am training with him. It is a great, great honor to play with him.”
