The GOALZ programme engaged with 250 students at the Qatar International School in West Bay on Wednesday 14 January 2015.  The students, aged between 9 to 11 years old, all had a great time and were inspired by the power of football.
 
As part of the days visit at the school, the GOALZ programme promoted the QSL’s exciting new Kids Club initiative, which gives youngsters the chance to receive rewards when they attend matches and support their favourite QSL team.
 
GOALZ, a school football coaching programme initiated by the Qatar Stars League in partnership with Evolution Soccer, aims to visit 56 schools across the country over the coming year. This ambitious task is part of the Qatar Stars League’s long term vision to motivate the next generation to participate in football and increase their levels of physical activity.
 
During its on-going activities, students are given expert guidance from the GOALZ coaches who use their experience to inspire talent and help make passionate football fans and players in Qatar.
 
GOALZ will continue to engage students across the country by delivering its unique programme to a further 32 schools, three more festivals and tournaments are scheduled to take place in 2015.
