During the weekend of October 30th & 31st two Qatar Stars League teams - Al Sadd and El Jaish Sports Club hosted the first GOALZ end of term festivals and tournaments.

On Thursday afternoon Al Sadd played hosts to the GOALZ programmes youngest participants for their first end of term festival. The youngsters involved were aged from between 5 to 7 years old and all enjoyed playing football matches against other students of the same age from other participating GOALZ schools.

The main aim of the day was focused on enjoyment and was played as a non-competitive tournament where all were celebrated for their participation and not for winning. This created a vibrant atmosphere where the children were able to just play and enjoy themselves.

After the matches were played Al Sadd invited the participating teams to come and watch their match against Al Khor, which was the first time the majority of the participants and their families had visited a Qatar Stars League game.
