On Friday 31^st October the older players competed in two hotly contested tournaments; one was for our Under 9’s (7 to 9 years) age category and the other was for the Under 11’s (9 to 11 years). El Jaish Sports Club was the hosts on this day.

From start to finish there was non-stop action, with all four fields set up for the competition and used during every fixture. The atmosphere was excellent as parents and families cheered on their children.

To add to the day El Jaish star defender Ahmed Al Nahawi attended and stayed for the whole event to make sure he was able to meet as many children as possible, which really made the day that little bit more special for all the participants.

Following the exciting tournament all the families were invited to watch El Jaish play against Al Shahania which kicked-off at 5:30pm.

To conclude the day’s events during the half time break the GOALZ Main Tournament, Fair Play and Player of the tournament winners were presented to the crowd in front of the VIP’s by El Jaish Sports Club’s Marketing and Audience Manager Mr. Ahmed Mattar.
