Jaish team manager targeting a win against Umm Salal

El Jaish’s team manager Rashid Al Kabbi is expecting a big reaction from his side when they take on Umm Salal in round 18 of the QSL season. Al Kabbi gave an exclusive interview with QSL online revealing his thoughts on his sides recent run of games in the league.

“The match against Umm Salal will be a new start of us. We have dropped four points in recent weeks with the defeat to Al Rayyan and the draw with Al Khor, now we have to focus on winning every possible game in the league” noted the Qatari administrator when asked about his thoughts on the upcoming match on Friday evening.

Al Kabbi also confirmed that his side will be without two first team stars, whilst simultaneously welcoming two players back through suspension. “The good news is that Romarinho and Mohammed Al Jabri will be back in the squad. Unfortunately we will be without Mohammad Mothnani and Yasser Abubakar will be missing after picking up their forth yellow cards of the season against Al Rayyan.”

“I think it’s clear that we have been without our best players through suspension and injury in recent weeks. Slowly we have players coming up, and I hope that El Jaish can give our best against Umm Salal in the next game” added Al Kabbi.

El Jaish’s team manager ended the brief interview stressing that he is expecting a exciting match against Umm Salal. “Both teams are coming into the game off the back of defeats in the league, and will be eager to get back to winning again. Matches between El Jaish and Umm Salal are always competitive and I hope that my side can get the result we need.”
