Al Kharaitiyat Head of Football head of football Mansoor Moussa believes that new Tunisian head coach Ahmed Al Ajlani has adapted rapidly with the team and turned the fortunes of the Thunders around since taking charge of the Thunders. Al Ajlani and his tactics played a major part in Kharaitiyat’s 2-1 win over fellow strugglers Al Wakrah in round 15. 

Looking forward to the round 16 clash against Al Arabi Mansoor is confident his team can cause an upset;“It’s a tough confrontation for us, Al Arabi are still strong and big team despite their recent results. They defeated us in the first half of the QSL season. Howver as ever, we will seek to win.”

Mansoor also stated that new Brazilian signing Tata will need time to adapt to the side;“Tata played a part in the Al Wakrah game, He definitely needs more time and we con’t judge him from one game. However, we are expecting a lot from him, hoping that he will add to Al Kharaitiyat.”

Mansoor was also quick to praise January signing  Sanzhar Tursunov and has already played two games with the side.“Sanzhar is a distinguished player who adapted fast with the team. It is also important to praise the Moroccan player Anouar Diba who has also preformed well, however i hope that all step up in the coming games to boost our chances.”

Mansoor ended the interview noting that the club is still in the market for players. “We are currently negotiating with some players and clubs, management is working hard to improve the team.”
