QSL Al Arabi secured a 2-1 victory over Arabian Gulf League side Al Wasl at their German training camp on Saturday afternoon.Arabi opened the scoring from the penalty spot on the 58th minute, through summer signing Luis Jiménez, and all but confirmed the win on the 75th minute through striker Alan Souza. Al Wasl did score a late consolation, but Gerardo Pelusso’s side held on for the win.
The result is Arabi’s first win of preseason, following a 1-0 defeat to Al Hatta and a thrilling 3-3 draw with local side Sc Feucht. The Dream Team will now train ahead of a further two friendly matches, which have yet to be announced by the club.
Al Arabi will then return to Qatar on the 26th of August, and ramp up preparations ahead of their first match of the QSL season, when they will take on Al Sailiya on the 15th of August.
