QSL champions Al Rayyan have confirmed that Sheikh Saud bin Khalid Al Thani, will continue as the clubs presedent for the 2016/2017 QSL season. The decision was confirmed at the clubs general assembly on Sunday evening.

Sheikh Saud was one of the key figures at Al Rayyan last season, which eventually saw the Lions lift the QSL falcon shield for the first time in twenty one years. On confirmation of his presidency Sheikh Saud was eager to thank the members of Al Rayyan. “I would like to extend my thanks to the members of Al Rayyan who voted to continue with me as president. God willing we will continue to build on the success of last season with the club.”
