Match kick-off at 19:15 Thurs, Feb 5th, 2015 in the Al Khor stadium.

Al Khor coach Laslo Boloni
“It was good for us to find some young players. Good also because we made a very serious camp. Now we need to convert this into performances on the field.”

“We are playing a team that showed good quality. It is not among the first three teams but when you see how they play we can say that they are a very good team with a big coach. Important for us during the game is to make sure our midfield players perform at their very top levels. Now we have to decide the formation because we will play with three international players. And so we have to find the right balance between offence and defense which will work for us.”

“We have no absences for this match.”

“Players, staff and management are thinking about everything. We are professionals. Teams can move quickly up or even down in the table. It’s important to sort out your mistakes now rather than later in the league when you will not have enough time to rectify those mistakes.”

Al Khor attacking midfielder Madson
“I am 100 per cent now. I want to help the team finish the league is a good position.
I have done everything that was recommended to me on the physical front. And now I am ready to give my everything for the team. I will try and comeback and get back to the level where I was before the injury and help the team to score more goals.”

Al Ahli coach Milan Machala
“Not just me but I hope everybody is happy to start the league. Two players left - Tahir Zakaria and Ali Juma. Abdul Malek is slowly getting back to match fitness. Obaid Mubarak still needs time. We will have a tough competition. The best positions in the table - first and second are almost decided. For us we need to focus on getting as close to these top-2 as possible. I hope that in the second part of the season we will put on a good show and we will have a good performance from everyone and that more people will come to see the games and support the teams.”

“Alain Dioko is leading the scorer’s list and I hope he continues to do that and also that other players will support him and contribute with their own goals too.”

It will be a tough game with a good atmosphere. But we will try and put up a strong show and get the three points we need.

Al Ahli midfielder Younis Ali
“I think the break was a benefit for us because we didn't win the last three games. We now have a chance to get the maximum points during this game. We are playing Al Khor and playing in their home stadium is difficult so we have to put on a strong show to get maximum points. Maybe we were tired before, which is why we lost those few games.”
