QSL Side Al Kharaitiyat have been handed a boost ahead of their match against Umm Salal on Saturday evening confirming that winger Mahmoud Saad is set to return to first team action for the side. Saad had sat out of his side’s narrow 1-0 defeat to Al Rayyan through domestic suspension, and now will be available for the Thunders against Umm Salal.
In other team news, Al Kharaitiyat will be without Saud Nasser for the game after picking up a fourth yellow card of the season against Al Rayyan. The loss of the left back will be a bitter blow for head coach Ahmad Al-Ajlani whose side is fighting for survival in the QSL.
The match against Al Rayyan also saw Al-Ajlani give a debut to Belgium born professional midfielder Rachid Tiberkanine who has been signed as a replacement to Brazilian recruit Tata, who left after playing only one game with the side. Speaking of Tiberkanine’s debut Mansor Mussa head of football said; “We are expecting much from Tiberkanine in the next few matches, it is important that he starts well for the side and I hope that he can make a difference for Al Kharaitiyat this season.”
