QSL side Al Gharafa continued their preparations ahead of the new season on the 15th of September drawing 1-1 with Bahraini side Al Hidd.

The visitors took an early lead in the clash that took place on Saturday evening. However the Cheetahs fought back and grabbed an equalizer on the 63rd minute through Hungarian striker Kristian Nemeth. The game saw head coach Pedro Caixinia use the majority of his squad as he asses the fitness of his team.

Al Gharafa also announced four friendly matches; as preparations begin to intensify ahead of their first match of the QSL season against Al Ahli. First up for Gharafa, they will take on Qatar Gas League side Markhiya on the 20th of August.

Matches have also been penciled in against a Dubai side on the 27th of August and QSL rivals Al Arabi on the 3rd of September. Gharafa will conclude their preseason for the new QSL season when they take on Saudi giants Al Ahli on the 7th of September.
