QSL side Al Ahli continued their preparations for the new QSL season with a 1-1 draw against over Saudi side Al Batain on Monday evening.The Brigadiers came from behind to register the draw, with Mohsen Al-Yazidi scoring the equalizer on the 69th minute, after Batain took the lead on the 49th minute. Despite the draw, the tie was a key test for Ahli head coach Luka Bonačić who used the majority of his squad for the game.
Ahli will now continue to train in Doha ahead of the opening game of the 2016/2017 QSL season when they will welcome Al Gharafa to the Hamad Bin Khalifa stadium on Thursday the 16th of September.
