QSL side Al Ahli has confirmed their third signing of the January transfer window, announcing the capture of Argentine midfielder Cristian Maidana on a six month deal.

Maidana has been brought in as a replacement for Sayed Adnan who has returned to his parent club Al Hidd in Bahrain. This will be Maidana’s first experience of football in the Middle East, having previously enjoyed stints in Russia, Spain and the USA.

It’s already been a busy January transfer window for The Brigadeers . Maidna is Ahli’s third signing of the window so far, along with Qatar international midfielder Ahmed Maqsoud and striker Ali Ferydoon.  Ahli are currently in eleventh place in the QSL standings.
