
All three goals came in the first half, with Taawoun taking the lead through Ahmed Zein on the 5th minute. Al Ahli got back into the tie on the 20th minute from the penalty spot from Iranian international Mojtaba Jabbari. Taawoun grabbed the winner just ten minutes later courtisey of Musa Al Shammari.
