QSL side Al Ahli registered a 3-2 victory against local side VVV-Venlo on Tuesday evening at their preseason training camp in the Netherlands.

Head coach Luka Bonačić will be pleased with the result, in which he tested the quality of his squad. Noticeable absentees for Ahli included Meshal Abdulla and Pejman Montazeri who are away on international duty, whilst Mojtaba Jabbari has been sent back to Qatar to recover from a minor injury.

Ahli will continue training in the Netherlands till the 22^nd of August before returning to Doha to focus on the first game of the QSL season against Al Gharafa on the 15^th of September.
