The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has sent an official letter to the Qatar Football Association (QFA) about the recent spot checks that took place at four Qatar Stars League (QSL) clubs, regarding the implementation of the current club licensing regulations.  The delegation visit took place on Saturday 25th and Tuesday 28th of October.

The letter was positive in tone and mentioned that all four clubs and their stadiums were, “in order.” The Asian football body went on to say that they were satisfied with the “organization system and competency” of the Club Licensing Administration under the QSL.

The AFC delegation met with four Qatar Stars League clubs: Umm Salal, Lekhwiya, Al Sailiya and Qatar Sports Club. All of the QSL clubs were chosen at random.

The letter noted the exemplary work of the QFA and QSL and congratulated them on their efforts.
