Al Rayyan coach Diego Aguirre spoke to the media ahead of their 2019-20 QNB Stars League Week 5 match against Al Ahli.

“We won our last game against Al Khor and the victory came at the right moment for us because we could live up to the expectations of our fans who always want to see the team win.

“We are now in good shape and our morale is high. That was what we needed. Now we are preparing for another challenge and we must stay positive and build on the victory over Al Khor.

“The league is very strong this season because all clubs have good players. We need more strength in attack. We are waiting for Sebastian Soria to return. He may play this week.

“We are awaiting good news from the team management in the coming days about a striker that will strengthen our forward line.

“Both teams will enter the match with an aim to win. If we want to go higher, we must win,” said Aguirre.
