QSL side Al Wakra saw the conclusion of the third Goalz festival of the academic year. QSL’s Executive Director of Marketing and Communication Khalifa Al Haroon was on hand to crown the winners of the competition on the second day of action.

- Compass International School

- Burling School
On the first day of the football event saw third and fourth grade students battling it out in the football tournament, plenty of children attended the event which also included a penalty challenge for participants.
Newton International School, representing Al Arabi won the tournament with the Lebanese School, representing Qatar Sports Club finishing as runners up. Whilst the Newton Academy, representing Al Wakra club finished in third place, finally the fair play award was given to Compass international school that were representing current QSL league leaders Al Rayyan.
On the second day, of the festival saw fifth and sixth grades playing in the football tournament. The tournament saw plenty of action, and excitement as the kids battled it out to lift the crown. Doha English School represented the Qatar Sports Club won the tournament. Newton International School finished in second place, representing Al Sadd. Whilst Compass international school representing Al Wakra Club finished third place.
The GOALZ program aims at building communications between the Qatar Stars League Management (QSLM) and the 14 affiliated clubs through domestic community events and working with schoolchildren, in addition to educating the kids about QSL fixtures, healthy eating and the risks living a sedentary lifestyle.
