Runaway QSL league leaders Al Rayyan have been handed a major boost ahead of their round 21 clash against Al Wakrah.

Talismanic captain Rodrigo Tabata has returned to training for his side, following a three week spell on the sidelines following a pulled hamstring against Meisameer in round 18 of the Qatar Stars League. Tabata has been on fine form for Rayyan this season, scoring seventeen goals in eighteen QSL games.  The midfielder will now be in contention for his sides big game against Al Wakrah on Friday evening.

In other team news, defender Musa Haroon is set to miss the Wakrah clash through suspension after picking up his fourth yellow card of the season in his sides 5-0 victory over Lekhwiya.

The Lions now only need one point to confirm their status as QSL champions for the first time since the 1994/1995 season.
