Al Shamal travelled south to the Al Khor stadium to take on Al Kharaitiyat; both teams were in need of points as their campaigns haven’t been the most successful so far.<br />
<br />
Technically the league has now entered the second half of the season stage and so far Al Shamal haven’t won a single game in the division. Kharaitiyat haven’t fared much better with just two wins from 14 games.<br />
<br />
 As the action got underway it was the home side that scored first when Hassan Abd Al Fatah put away his chance in the 25th minute. Then just 3 minutes later the home side consolidated their position with another goal courtesy of Issiar Dia.<br />
<br />
The visitor finally replied with a goal of their own on the 35th minute when Ali Mejbel Fartoos found himself unmarked and slotted home the Musketeers first goal of the night to make it 2-1 at half time.<br />
<br />
After the break however Hassan Abd Al Fatah was at it again on 68 minutes to restore the two goal cushion for the Thunders.<br />
<br />
But it was over just yet as Ali Mejbel Fartoos got his second of the night (85’). Momentum was no firmly with the visitors as they rallied late on.<br />
<br />
Maher Haddad became the hero of the night for Shamal when just 3 minutes later he added another to level the scores for the first time in the match.<br />
<br />
3-3 was the final score in a match that lacked defensive discipline but was full of some great goals and late drama at the end of the match.
