Kick off- Friday the 23rd of October- 19:45pm at the Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium

Al Ahli Head Coach Zlatko Kranjcar

We are all aware of the importance of this game for both the teams. Qatar SC have endured four losses so far and they're not going to make it any easy for us. They will try to find a solution to win. We are expecting that. The last game we came back after losing 2-0 and that has created a positive momentum in the team.

The team has responded well during training. There is a positive atmosphere and playerrs are highly motivated. We definitely want to win this game. We wouldn't say that we feel a big pressure ahead of this game. Our comeback in the last game shows that we have the quality to do so. And with the work that the players have been putting in during training I am confident that they will do well.

Scoring more goals is one of our main aims. We create a lot of chances but we don't convert them. Our play in the final one-third of the pitch is not good enough. We need to play with more concentration there. So we looking to improve that. We are working hard on that aspect. We believe we have the players in Meshal Abdullah, Mobile who have the quality to score goals.

Qatar SC Head Coach Radhi Shenaishil
We all know that we are coming from a defeat against Sadd. We played well and we did have an opportunity to come back in the game. We have to be realistic in this game. We knew that the competition this season will be difficult.

Many teams are trying to come back into the competition. We lost four games but we didn't play bad and we were unlucky. But most important for me is that I am well supported by the administration. I am responsible about this situation. This is my job.

And as for Harbaoui, I am sure that my team can continue without him. We need one win to change things around. Lot of teams this season are trying to do better and that makes it tougher.

When you play big teams, it's easy for me to prepare for these matches. I know the quality of their players. But when you play against teams that are not so far away from you, it's a big problem to prepare players. I try to push my players to see my philosophy to see all teams at the same level. Because matches against all teams will give you three points. That doesn't change regardless of who you play. Some games are however for six points - against direct opponents. I think these three games that we will play now are big opportunities for us to come back. We are playing opponents who are on the same level as us.

We try to deal with pressure. I try to take my players out of pressure and help them to play with concentration. I ask them everyday to help each other, to be careful but not be afraid of any opponent and to play like they know. As a coach I deal with pressure. Last season my team showed a good image but this season even without foreign players we can do well. If you can see the rankings, all teams are close so if you win 1-2 games then we can climb up the table.

Our foreign players are giving good performance. Our striker Yajour is one of the best players in the QSL and now he is starting to show this. Han is one of the best players in Qatar. The other important thing is that we have a family atmosphere but indeed the losses can cause some negative impact.

Missing players is normal for any team. Our team needs to adapt to the situation and know how to deal with such problems. We constantly miss players because of injury of suspension. So you have to know how to deal with it as a coach. We have young players who I believe can do well and. We have a lot of players with good quality and I think that this will have a positive effect on the team.
