Al Shamal coach David Prats spoke to the media ahead of their 2025-2026 Doha Bank Stars League Week 16 match against Al Gharafa.

“We are expecting a tough match against a strong team with top-level players, coming off a major continental tournament like the AFC Champions League and also competing for the league title.

“We are fully aware of the importance of the Al Gharafa match and the strong competition we will face, but at the same time, we are looking to achieve the best possible result and continue our good run this season,” said Prats.

Al Shamal player Abdul Samad Bounacer said, “The Al Gharafa match is a difficult encounter against a strong team. We are fully aware of how difficult the match will be, but at the same time, our goal is to win and secure the three points in order to continue our excellent run this season.”
