Al Duhail coach Djamel Belmadi spoke to the media ahead of their 2025-2026 Doha Bank Stars League Week 16 match against Al Arabi.

“Our focus during our preparations for the Al Arabi match was primarily on recovery after our recent AFC Champions League Elite fixture in order to avoid any physical fatigue that could affect the players. We have an important match ahead of us against Al Arabi and our goal, of course, is to win this game.

“Facing Al Arabi in the league is completely different from our match against them in the Amir Cup due to the different nature of the competition. We hope that the players will have a positive impact before facing Al Arabi after qualifying for the next round of AFC Champions League Elite,” said Belmadi.

Al Duhail player Yousef Ayman said, “All players are fully prepared and ready to win this match. We have an important game ahead of us to improve the team’s position in the league. We must return to winning ways to raise the team’s level again.”
