Al Sailiya coach Mirghani Al Zain spoke to the media ahead of their 2025-2026 Doha Bank Stars League Week 12 match against Al Rayyan.
“Our team is ready to face Al Rayyan. The first half of the season witnessed positive performances and a good atmosphere within the team. However, the start of the second half represents a different phase, requiring redoubled effort and focus. This leg is the most crucial in the race to accumulate points.
“The Al Rayyan match marks the true beginning of the second half, the team utilized the break to enhance physical and technical readiness, despite the challenges of the upcoming stage.
“Some absences are there due to suspensions, injuries and health issues, but I have strong confidence in the available players and their ability to compensate for these absences. The objective is to deliver a competitive performance and achieve a positive result,” said Mirghani.
Al Sailiya player Kellian van der Kaap said, The match against Al Rayyan is difficult. But the team has shown significant improvement since our first encounter with Al Rayyan, both individually and collectively. Adhering to teamwork will give Al Sailiya a better chance to secure points.”
