Qatar SC coach Marquez Lopez spoke to the media ahead of their 2025-2026 Doha Bank Stars League Week 13 match against Al Sailiya.

“We are looking to achieve the best possible result in this match, because a win and the three points will propel us forward, while a loss could set us back. Therefore, we must give our best to secure the victory and claim the three points.

“All matches in the league will be extremely difficult in the coming period, not only because we are entering the second half of the season, but also because clubs have strengthened their squads during the current winter transfer window with new players, which increases the level of competition and makes the matches more challenging,” said Lopez.

Qatar SC player Franco Russo said, “The match against Al Sailiya will be tough, but I am confident in the ability of The Kings to deliver a good performance and achieve victory.
