Al Ahli and Al Wakrah kick off Week 6 of 2026-2027 season Doha Bank Stars League on Friday, October 16, 2026, at Al Thumama Stadium (kick-off 5.30pm).

Both teams aim to build on their recent victories in this highly-anticipated clash, seeking the three points needed to improve their standings in the league table.

Al Ahli enter the match with high morale after their solid victory over Al Sailiya, a result that underlined their determination to improve and climb the table. The Brigadiers currently sit sixth with seven points and will look to build on that momentum to claim another win that could boost their confidence and stabilise their campaign.

Al Wakrah, meanwhile, arrive in good spirit following their win over Al Gharafa in the previous round. The team has moved up to five points and ninth place, and will aim to capitalise on that success to continue their progress and improve their standing.
