Qatar SC twice came from behind to secure a 4-3 win over Al Shahania in Week 16 of 2025-2026 season Doha Bank Stars League at the Al Khor Stadium on Friday.

The vital win moved The Kings to 24 points, while bottom-placed Al Shahania remained languishing on 11 points from just three wins and two draws so far in the season.

Naif Al Hadhrami (57th minute), Ahmed Al Rawi (67th minute), Faiz Selemani (69th minute) and Joao Pedro (90th minute) were on target for Qatar SC in the thrilling encounter that proved to be a match of two halves.

Al Shahania had their goals scored by Abdoulaye Traore (24th minute), Lotfi Madjer (45+1 minute) and Mohammed Sayyar (82nd minute).

Al Shahania, who played one of their best matches of the season so far, were unlucky to have a penalty called rescinded in the 79th minute after a lengthy VAR check proved otherwise, denying them the potential of having the spoils evenly shared.
