Al Wakrah host Al Shahania in Week 14 of 2025-2026 season Doha Bank Stars League at the Saoud Bin Abdulrahman Stadium of Al Wakrah club on Thursday, January 29, 2026. The kick-off is at 7.45pm.
Both teams enter the match with the ambition of winning and securing the three points to improve their standings.
Al Shahania managed to climb out of last place last week after defeating Umm Salal 3-0, moving to 11th place with 11 points, level on points with 10th-placed Al Sailiya but behind on goal difference, and two points ahead of bottom-placed Umm Salal.
Meanwhile, Al Wakrah suffered a 0-2 defeat against Al Duhail in the previous round, but remained in eighth place with 16 points, benefiting from Al Ahli’s loss to Al Sadd.
Al Wakrah are looking for a victory to distance themselves from the relegation zone and move closer to the top of the table.
