QSL side Lekhwiya has set off to Iran ahead of their second AFC Champions League tie against Zob Ahan. Djamel Belmadi’s side will be eager to avenge the 1-0 defeat at the hands of the Iranian side in their opening match of the AFC Champions League.<br />

Lekhiwya’s delegation of players and officials set off from Hamad international airport via private jet. Players amongst the delegation included Chico Flores, Nam Tae-Hee and Qatari international Ahmed Yasser.<br />

The Red Knights are currently in last place in Group B and have tough tests against Al Nassr (KSA) & Bunyodkor (UZB) to come. The Doha based outfit will now be focusing on the cup competitions this season, following their 5-0 humbling at the hands of Al Rayyan, effectively handing the Lions the QSL title.
