QSL side Qatar SC have been dealt a huge injury blow, ahead of their must win relegation battle against Al Khor in round 21.
Defender Rafik Halliche has been ruled out for three weeks after tearing his calf muscle in his sides 3-0 victory over bottom side Meisameer. The injury will compound a miserable few months for the Algerian international defender, who has just returned back to Qatar SC in the winter transfer window replacing Ismail Belmaalem.
Prior to his return Halliche had six months out after rupturing his cruciate knee ligament. The current injury means that he will be absent for his sides relegation clash against Al Khor, which will take place on Sunday the 6th of March.
The Kings have been on a run of three consecutive wins in the QSL, and know that a win over Al Khor will mean they can jump out of the QSL relegation zone for the first time this season.
