The Qatar Football Association (QFA) and Qatar Stars League (QSL) participated in a lecture organised by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) on Tuesday, 11th August, 2020, via visual communication technology, for the national Football Associations and Asian leagues, in the presence of Mr. Ahmed Khellil Abbassi, Executive Director of Competition and Football Development at the QSL, and Mr. Mohammed Fakhroo, Head of International Relations at the QFA, in addition to a number of heads of federations, general secretaries and representatives of national federations in Asia.
During the lecture, the protocol for the return of football activity and matches for the QNB Stars League as well as the South Korean League were reviewed, following a long break due to the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic.
Mr. Abbassi reviewed the protocol developed by the QSL and approved by the Ministry of Public Health and Aspetar, regarding the return of football activity and matches, which took place in many stages, and answered a number of queries from the participants and representatives of Asian federations and leagues.
It may be noted that the AFC and all participants in the lecture praised the QSL’s Covid-19 protocol, through which football activity and QNB Stars League were resumed.
