Al Sadd Sports won the of Emir Cup for the 16^th time in their history after defeating El Jaish 2-1 in the final match which was played last Saturday in Jassim bin Hamad stadium.

Al Sadd had a huge gala banquet at their indoor hall at the Jassim bin Hamad stadium.

The ceremony was attended by H.E. Sheikh Jassem bin Hamad bin Nasser Al Thani, Qatar Sports Club President, Abdullah Hamed Al-Mulla, Qatar Sports Club General Secretary, Salman Abdel Ghani, Al-Wakrah Sports Club Vice President.

The Emir Cup win for Al Sadd acted as compensation after not being able to win the Qatar Stars League or the Qatar Cup.

This was the 65^th title in their entire history.
