Al Sadd Sports won the of Emir Cup for the 16^th time in their history after defeating El Jaish 2-1 in the final match which was played last Saturday in Jassim bin Hamad stadium.<br />

Al Sadd had a huge gala banquet at their indoor hall at the Jassim bin Hamad stadium.<br />

The ceremony was attended by H.E. Sheikh Jassem bin Hamad bin Nasser Al Thani, Qatar Sports Club President, Abdullah Hamed Al-Mulla, Qatar Sports Club General Secretary, Salman Abdel Ghani, Al-Wakrah Sports Club Vice President.<br />

The Emir Cup win for Al Sadd acted as compensation after not being able to win the Qatar Stars League or the Qatar Cup.<br />
<br />
This was the 65^th title in their entire history.
