The AFC announced the first round of qualification matches for the 2015 Asian Champions League (ACL), both Al Sadd and El Jaish will participate in the qualification round after the teams were officially approved. As Lekhwiya won the Qatar Stars League last season they will go directly into the group stage.<br />

Al Sadd will play against Al-Rifaa of Bahrain on the 10^th of Feb 2015 in Doha. If Al Sadd win they will then face Al-Wahda (UAE) in Abu Dhabi on the 17^th of the same month.<br />

El Jaish will confront Al-Nahda (Oman) in in Doha on the 10^th of Feb 2015 and if they win then they will play against Naft Tehran FC (Iran) in Tehran on the 17^th of the same month.<br />

The ACL official draw will be conducted next Thursday at AFC headquarters, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. According to the AFC the preliminary qualifications will consist of three play-off rounds; match day 1 will be on 4^th Feb, match day 2 on 10^th Feb and match day 3 on 17^th Feb.<br />

The ACL group stage will kick off on the 24^th and 25^th Feb (match day 1). On the 3^rd and 4^th of March (match day 2), and the 17^th and 18^th of March (match day 3). Then on the 7^th and 8^th of April (match day 4), and on the 21^st and 22^nd of April (match day 5).  Finally on the 5^th and 6^th of May (match day 6).<br />

As for round of 16, the away matches will be on the 19^th and 20^th of May, home matches will be on 26^th and 27^th of May. The quarterfinal away matches will be on 25^th and 26^th of August whilst the home matches will be on 15^th and 16^th of September. The semi-final away matches will take place on the 20^th and 30^th of September and the home matches on 20^th and 21^st of October. The final home and away matches will be played on the 7^th and 21^st of November respectively.
