The kick-off is at 20:30 at the Al Gharafa Stadium on Monday, 7th September, 2020.</p><p>This is the heavyweight encounter of Week 2, featuring two clubs with rich history as well as tradition besides many titles and honours to their credit.</p><p>Al Gharafa had finished a creditable fourth in the 2019-20 season, behind champions Al Duhail, Al Rayyan and Al Sadd in that order, whereas Al Rayyan ended up as runners-up, just one point behind Al Duhail.</p><p>Al Gharafa, coached by Serb Slavisa Jokanovic, thus ensured a berth in the next edition of elite Qatar Cup and a possible place in next year’s AFC Champions League play-off.</p><p>The Cheetahs are on a high after beating Qatar SC 2-0 in the opener, while Al Rayyan, under Uruguayan Diego Aguirre, dropped two points after being held 1-1 by Al Sailiya.</p><p>Al Gharafa have the likes of Ahmed Alaaeldin, Sofiane Hanni, Jonathan Kodjia and Adlene Guedioura, who returned from a long injury layoff in the match against  Qatar SC, to match the star-studded line-up of Al Rayyan, so a fierce fight is a foregone conclusion.</p>
