Al Ahli coach Younes Ali spoke to the media ahead of their 2025-2026 Doha Bank Stars League Week 21 match against Al Duhail.

“Our current situation demands a high level of focus on delivering a strong performance and securing the points, especially given the strength of our opponents Al Duhail. We need to play with maximum concentration to overcome them.

“The team is going through a difficult period requiring a concerted effort from all players to achieve victory and secure the points. We made things harder for ourselves by drawing with Al Sailiya in the previous round and now a win is essential while awaiting the results of remaining matches,” said Younes.

Al Ahli player Ibrahima Diallo said, “We need to play with high spirit against Al Duhail, everyone feels the importance of winning the match and escaping our current predicament.
