Al Duhail coach Djamel Belmadi spoke to the media ahead of their 2025-2026 Doha Bank Stars League Week 21 match against Al Ahli.

“We certainly have an important match ahead of us against Al Ahli. We are striving to continue our recent winning run, in addition to preparing optimally for our AFC Champions League Elite match against Al Ahli Jeddah of Saudi Arabia.

“Of course, Almoez Ali’s return at this time has been a positive and decisive factor for the team, providing a significant boost of energy and effectiveness after securing the victory against Al Gharafa with his winning goal,” said Belmadi.

Al Duhail player Ghanem Al Minhali said, “I am happy about the coaching staff’s confidence in me and my first start for the first team against Al Gharafa. The team is working hard to continue winning streak in the league and overcome the challenge of Al Ahli.
