Umm Salal coach Ruben Albes spoke to the media ahead of their 2025-2026 Doha Bank Stars League Week 21 match against Al Rayyan.

“The Al Rayyan match is extremely important and is considered as one of the decisive matches, along with the Al Ahli game. We must win both matches if we want to stay in the league. Most importantly, we must play with strength and determination to achieve our goal,” said Ruben Albes.

Umm Salal player Jean Kouassi said, “We will play with all our strength and give our utmost effort. We are ready and our goal is to win and move to a safer position in the standings.
“The Al Rayyan match requires us to fight on the pitch to win, and we will do everything we can. Every match is a battle for us that we must win.”
