Al Shamal coach David Prats spoke to the media ahead of their 2025-2026 Doha Bank Stars League Week 20 match against Umm Salal.

“The Umm Salal match will be tough and challenging. We will be facing a strong team that is currently enjoying a good run of form and has performed well under their new coach.

“They also have some high-calibre players, so there is no doubt it will not be easy. We are in the final stages of the season, and therefore every match will be extremely difficult as all teams are eager to finish the season strongly and achieve their goals. We too are looking to end the season on a high note,” said Prats.

Al Shamal player Alex Collado said, “The Umm Salal match will be difficult for both teams, as each is determined to win and secure the three points.”
