Umm Salal coach Ruben Albes spoke to the media ahead of their 2025-2026 Doha Bank Stars League Week 17 match against Al Wakrah.

“The Al Wakrah match is very important for us and represents a real turning point, as a victory would give us a significant boost to improve our position in the standings.

“The players are in good form, both psychologically and technically, and we hope to maintain this spirit and achieve a positive result,” said Albes.

Umm Salal player Oussama Tannane said, “The players are ready for the match, the team has been on the right track recently.
