Al Sadd coach Roberto Mancini spoke to the media ahead of their 2025-2026 Doha Bank Stars League Week 11 match against Al Shamal.

“This will be a difficult match because Al Shamal are a very good team, but for us, it is very important to reduce the points gap between us and the league leaders.

“The recent victory in AFC Champions League Two was important and I think it was positive for the team because it now gives us perhaps an additional chance to qualify. This victory is also important for the league competition because it has a significant impact on the team’s mental and morale state,” said Mancini.

Al Sadd player Augustin Soria said, “We know we will be facing a strong team, but we also believe in our work. We are coming off a strong comeback in the last match and I think that gives us a lot of confidence.”
