Al Sailiya coach Mirghani Al Zain spoke to the media ahead of their 2025-2026 Doha Bank Stars League Week 15 match against Al Gharafa.

“Preparations went off normally as usual over the past few weeks. The team has prepared well for the game, focusing on both technical and physical aspects to ensure a strong performance.

“Al Gharafa are a great team and perennial contenders for championships. One cannot judge them based on a single result. I have complete respect for the opponents and am aware of the difficulty of the match.

“We have some significant absences due to suspension and injury, including Younes Belhanda, in addition to other absences in defence. However, I have confidence in the available players and their ability to deliver,” said Mirghani.

Al Sailiya player Anwar El Ghazi said, “The match against Al Gharafa is difficult, but I have confidence in the players’ collective abilities. The team has prepared well for the match and have performed exceptionally well as a team, and that gives us the great confidence before the game.”
