Al Gharafa coach Pedro Martins spoke to the media ahead of their 2025-2026 Doha Bank Stars League Week 14 match against Al Sadd.

“The players have shown a positive response recently. Everyone is in high spirits and preparing for the upcoming match against Al Sadd.

“Regarding absences in the team, I would say that Al Gharafa will regain the services of Ferjani Sassi and Aron, which will give the team added strength and put us in a better position compared to the past two months, despite the loss of Joselu.

“The team has other solutions to compensate for the absences. Preparations for the match have gone well and all players understand the importance of the encounter,” said Martins.

Al Gharafa player Ferjani Sassi said, “The team is facing a tough and important match against Al Sadd. The players are ready and have a strong desire to achieve a positive result.

“The match represents a true summit clash in the league due to the stature of both teams and their close points in the standings. Preparations have gone well, training has been excellent and players are at their peak of readiness.”
