Al Shahania and Al Duhail played out a goalless draw in Week 12 of 2025-2026 season Doha Bank Stars League at the Al Khor Stadium on Thursday.
Despite several attempts at goal from both sides, none of them was able to breach each other’s defence, ensuring the spoils were evenly shared.
Al Duhail were spared from being reduced to 10 men in the 55th minute when the red card initially issued to Edmilson Junior for a tackle was eventually downgraded to a yellow card following a VAR check.
The Red Knights had an opportunity to turn things around in the 81st minute when Youssouf Sabaly found himself in a perfect position to nod home from a Sultan Al Breik cross, but his header narrowly hit the right upright on its way out in what was the last major highlight of the match.
With the result, Al Shahania raised their tally to eight points, while Al Duhail now have 16 points.
