<p class="p1">A number of QSL Sides have taken part in friendly matches as preparation ahead of the new season. Here we have rounded up some of the games which took place over the past week.</p>

<p class="p1"><strong><span class="s1">Al Rayyan vs PEC Zwolle – 3-1</span></strong></p>

<p class="p1"><span class="s1">The Lions secured a victory against Dutch side PEC Zwolle during their preseason camp in Holland. Star signing, Abdelrezzak Hamdallah scored a brace while Rodrigo Tabata added another from the spot to end the game 3-1 for Michael Laudrup’s men.</span></p>

<p class="p2">The team is expected to return to Doha on the 15th of August ahead of the start of the 2017/2018 QSL season.</p>

<p class="p2"><strong>Al Arabi vs ZTE FC – 1-4</strong></p>

<p class="p1"><span class="s1">The Dream team suffered a 4-1 defeat in their friendly against Hungarian side ZTE FC. The match took place in Slovenia during Al Arabi’s preseason training camp.</span></p>

<p class="p2">New signing Khalfan Ibrahim scored the only goal for Kais Yaqoubi’s men from the penalty spot.</p>

<p class="p2"><strong>Al Ahli vs OSS FC – 1-2</strong></p>

<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Joaquin Caparros’s men endured a narrow 2-1 defeat at the hands of Dutch outfit FC OSS in a friendly encounter last Tuesday. The match took place at the VV Herpinia Stadium in the city of Herpen, Netherlands during Al Ahli’s preseason training camp.</span></p>

<p class="p2"><strong>Al Gharafa vs Canakkale Dardanel – 1-3</strong></p>

<p class="p1"><span class="s1">The Cheetah’s lost their friendly game to Turkish side Canakkale Dardanel by 3 goals to 1. Luis Jimenez scored the only goal for Al Gharafa in their first friendly match during their preseason training camp in Turkey.</span></p>

<p class="p2"><strong>Umm Salal vs Al Markhiya – 3-2</strong></p>

<p class="p1"><span class="s1">QSL sides Umm Salal and Al Markhiya played out a 5-goal friendly match which ended in favour of the Orange Fortress 3-2. Ivorian striker Yannick Sagbo and Syrian forward Mahmoud Mawas were amongst the scorers last Tuesday.</span></p>

<p class="p2">Umm Salal are now in Holland for their preseason camp and are expected to return to Doha on the 27th of August.</p>

<p class="p2"><strong>Qatar SC vs Al Shamal – 5-1</strong></p>

<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Newly promoted QSL side Qatar SC defeated second vision outfit Al Shamal by 5 goals to 1 in a friendly match before the Kings headed to Slovenia for their preseason training camp. New signing Bruno Galo got his name on the score sheet as well with a goal from the spot last Monday evening.</span></p>
