QSL side Umm Salal has further strengthened their side ahead of the 2017/2018 QSL campaign, confirming that midfielder Ismail Mahmoud has signed a contract extension with the club.<br />

Orange Fortress officials confirmed the news last night, adding that Mahmoud has signed a one year deal with the club with an extension option. Mahmoud has been one of Umm Salal’s most consistent players in recent years, and despite missing a large chunk of last season with an injury has been rewarded with a new deal.<br />

The 30 year old midfielder retuned to training on Monday evening, to rejoin his team-mates who have begun preseason training ahead of the new season.
