Al Ahli coach Milan Macala spoke to the media ahead of their QNB Stars League Week 6 match against Al Sailiya.

“First of all, congratulations to Al Sadd for making it to the AFC Champions League semifinal. They have made Qatar football proud.

“Coming to our match this week, Al Sailiya are a strong side. They defend well and are also good in other departments of the game. They have a good coach in Sami Trabelsi, who has been with the side for long.

“We must be wary of their attack as they have scored seven goals from four games.

“We were happy that we could collect full points from our last match against Al Kharaitiyat. Sometimes, we played nicely, but did not win. Last time, we got a good result too. Those three points will be crucial for us.

“With more players coming back from injuries, I see further improvement in our performance. We can do a lot more.

“We could field some young players in the QSL Cup. I wish there are more such competitions. Youngsters must get more opportunities. All teams must contribute players to the national team,” said Macala.
