Al Markhiya’s Ayoub Assal has been adjudged the QNB Stars League’s Best Under-23 Player for the months of February & March, 2023, according to STATS, the official statistics and figures provider for the QNB Stars League.

During the period, Ayoub played seven matches and scored two goals. He spent a total of 343 minutes on the pitch.

The Moroccan played a key role in helping Al Markhiya secure the eighth position in the QNB Stars League table with 18 points currently from 16 matches. And The Oryxes have a game in hand heading into the 18th round of action.

Al Markhiya have five victories to their credit, while they drew three matches and lost eight games.

Ayoub, who joined Al Markhiya in the January transfer window this year, is one of the players coach Abdullah Mubarak relies on due to his high technical capabilities.
