Al Sadd and Qatar national team star Akram Afif has been named as the QNB Stars League’s Best Player for the months of February & March, 2023.

Akram scored five goals from seven matches (Weeks 8, 10, 13, 14, 15, 16 & 17) of the 2022-2023 season QNB Stars League besides creating several scoring opportunities. He spent a total of 397 minutes on the pitch.

The ace forward played a key role for his team as reigning champions Al Sadd moved to the third position in the QNB Stars League table with 32 points after 17 rounds of action, trailing leaders Al Duhail by seven points and closest challengers Al Arabi by five points.

The technical analysis of Akram released by STATS, the official statistics and figures provider for the QNB Stars League, showed he scored two of his goals from outside the box and the other three from inside the box.
