El Jaish player Mosaab Mahmoud suffered a semi-concussion after colliding with Al-Shamal striker Dagano during their clash on Friday evening in round 24 of Qatar Stars League at Abdullah Bin Khalifa stadium.

The player was immediately transferred to Hamad Medical Hospital for further medical examinations in order to ensure the player hadn’t suffered any serious complications.

El Jaish team official Ismail Ahmed assured the media that the player suffered a mild concussion, and that for the player’s safety he would stay overnight in the hospital for 24 hours.

Ismail Ahmed added that the player underwent all the required medical tests once he arrived at the hospital. The player will be granted two days of rest, after which he will return to the training session based on being cleared to partake by doctors.

Both the technical staff and the club officials expressed their sorrow and sadness for the injury suffered by the player and wished him a speedy recovery, taking into consideration that he is one of the team’s main pillars.
