<div>Midmac Contracting Co. clinched the title of the third edition of the Workers Cup 2015 after defeating Outlook 6-4 on penalties in the final match played on Friday 9<sup>th</sup> of April in the Thani Bin Jassim Stadium.<br />

Gulf Contractors gained the third place after defeating Muwasalat by a single goal in a tight game.<br />
<br />
The final match of the Workers Cup was attended by Mr. Hassan Al-Thawadi, the General Secretary of the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy, Mr. Hani Ballan, the CEO of the Qatar Stars League as well as Mr. Mansour Al Ansari, the General Secretary of Qatar Football Association. There was also a huge crowd at the stadium which exceeded 4000 spectators.<br />

The match was tough and exciting from both sides as the match witnessed a strong contest to win the coveted title.<br />
<br />
After the match, Mr. Hassan Al-Thawadi proceeded with the coronation of Midmac with the Cup trophy, whilst Mr. Hani Ballan granted the runners-up Outlook with the silver medals. Mr. Mansour Al-Ansari honoured Gulf Contractors with the bronze medals.<br />
<br />
Midmac then received the tournament’s prize money of 25000 QR, Outlook took home 20,000 QR and Gulf Contractors received 15000 QR.<br />
<br />
The match ended in a 2-2 draw. Outlook took the lead in the 2<sup>nd</sup> minute, then Midmac equalized on 13<sup>th</sup> minutes. Outlook then took the lead again with their second goal on the 24<sup>th</sup> minute to end the first half with a one goal advantage. <br />
<br />
At the beginning of the second half Midmac equalized again to force the match to penalties.<br />
<br />
The penalty shoot was a tense affair which ended 6-4 in Midmac’s favour.</div>
